Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Golden. By using the app or purchasing a Golden subscription on the web, you agree to them and to any applicable payment provider or app-store terms.

Planning estimates

Golden provides departure estimates, countdowns, and reminders. It cannot guarantee an arrival time. Traffic, calendar changes, location accuracy, connectivity, device settings, and operating-system behavior can affect estimates and delivery. Use your judgment and do not interact with Golden while driving.

Subscriptions

Golden and Golden + Buddy are monthly auto-renewing subscriptions. The price and renewal terms shown at purchase are authoritative. Golden + Buddy includes one companion seat linked to the paying subscriber's active plan; companion access ends if the plan expires or the Buddy connection is disconnected. App-store purchases are charged to your app-store account and can be managed through its subscription settings. Web purchases are processed by RevenueCat Billing and Stripe and can be managed using the link provided with the web purchase. A subscription continues to renew until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Buddy updates

Golden sends Buddy app notifications only after the invited person accepts in Golden. Either person may send updates for a shared departure. Share only plans that involve that buddy. Both people must confirm an in-app disconnection request. Legacy text-message recipients can still reply STOP to end texts immediately.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Golden, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, send unlawful or abusive messages, or use the service in a way that violates another person's rights.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Golden may change or discontinue features and is not responsible for losses caused by relying solely on a planning estimate or reminder. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Store terms

For downloads through Apple's App Store, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
